The blade bait is a lure which effectively fills in a gap in modern spinning. There are a few advantages that distinguish it from popular lures.
It generates an unusual kind of aggression - short, frequent vibrations are accepted by all predatory fish. Blade baits are excellent to work on small spaces (deep places, holes between debris, river troughs) where most of decoys do not work. Blade bait gives an opportunity of fishing on the shallows, in half of the water and just above the bottom. A big range of troughs unachievable by other decoys of similar weight. A very good bait feeling while spinning, even in difficult conditions, e.g. during strong wind. A characteristic feature of blade baits are wholes fastening to the set on the back of the bait. A competent selection of wholes while spinning gives an opportunity of presenting the blade bait in different parts of the water.
